Summer is just around the corner! That means peak season at the Karlsruhe pools. To ensure that our bathers can once again enjoy carefree hours in the water this year, the Karlsruhe pools are looking for seasonal staff to run the pools. Whether in the outdoor pools, the Europabad Karlsruhe, the Therme Vierordtbad or the Fächerbad - our teams ensure that the pools run safely, cleanly and smoothly every day. At peak times, they are supported by dedicated seasonal staff who, together with our experienced permanent staff, make summer in Karlsruhe possible.
The job is varied and full of responsibility: seasonal staff work in shifts to support pool operations, ensure that the facilities are kept tidy and clean and help to make our guests feel at home in Karlsruhe's pools. We are looking for people who are reliable, enjoy working in a team and enjoy interacting with guests. No special professional qualifications are required, but manual skills or practical experience are welcome. You can also obtain proof of lifeguarding qualifications before starting your contract with us.
The position is available during the season from mid-April to September with a 39-hour week in shifts. Continued employment beyond the season is possible.
Remuneration is based on pay group 3 of the collective labour agreement for the public sector (TVöD) plus shift allowances and annual special bonuses.
