Karlsruher Bäder Art in the thermal baths
In the heart of the fan-shaped city of Karlsruhe, the historic Vierordtbad thermal baths, with their unique mosaics and the architecturally outstanding rotunda, are an impressive work of art. For years, artists have had the opportunity to exhibit their works in parts of the spa as part of the Art in the Spa programme.
The works of the currently exhibiting artist can be admired during the regular opening hours of the thermal baths and at no extra charge. The art exhibition changes every six months.

Simone Uschold
The artist Simone Uschold has been exhibiting her works at the Therme Vierordtbad since 2 March 2026. Simone Uschold's art is an expression of emotion and intuition. The motifs show more than just the multifaceted beauty of people - they reflect strong feelings and thoughts that are brought to life through colour and texture.
The expressive character of her works arises from the interplay between abstraction and expression. The visible and the invisible merge in a powerful dynamic created by the palette knife technique and intense acrylic colours.
Simone Uschold: "I want to bring the invisible emotions that rarely leave the inner canvas to the outside, give them form and colour and capture them in my works of art."
